Jayaram is a staff Scientist at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine and The Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center. Before joining Einstein, worked at Aragen Life Science and Laxai Life Science in the Chemistry drug discovery department. A research scientist, he was involved in several drug discovery projects that involved synthesizing complex heterocycles (e.g., triazole, pyrazole, indole, quinolines, isoquinolines, oligosaccharides), as well as PROTAC derivatives, worked on Sp3-CH activation, and natural product syntheses. In 2018, he completed his PhD at the CSIR- Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, India under the supervision of Dr. G. V. M. Sharma. He extensively worked on synthesizing novel heterocyclic molecules and other biologically useful scaffolds using bis-boronate esters.

In my free time, he enjoys playing cricket, watching movies, spending time with friends and family.
